BURBERRY DRESS

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Siamo a -7 dalla festa per il compleanno di Sissi… L’outfit di oggi è comodissimo dato che saremo in giro mattina e pomeriggio, quindi il vestito di Burberry è adattissimo perchè abbastanza casual e molto comodo.

Che giornata pesante! What a busy day !

Papà è fuori 3 giorni per lavoro e da sole è un po’ pesante… ma sappiamo che ci legge… e gli farà piacere vedere che oggi abbiamo riprovato con le Prada. Ebbene sì, le tanto amate e desiderate Prada (qui la review) ad un certo punto hanno cominciato a far male a Sissi all’altezza del polpaccio e per questo le abbiamo lasciate in stand-by per un po’…

MUM’S DIARY AND TODAY’S OUTFIT

Si ricomincia con una vita normale, oggi. It starts with a normal life, today.

Ritmi normali, cose da fare, un evento che amiamo per il quale prepararci, shopping in periodo di saldo a cui pensare… ho comprato la nuova agenda di questo anno, che non è per una volta il solito refill della mia Nava di sempre (troppo grande e troppo pesante per la borsa di una mamma-ingegnere!): in linea con il nuovo libro di Sissi (questo qui) ho deciso di prendere questa Moleskine, comoda perchè giornaliera ma compatta: Normal rhythms, things to do, an event which we love to prepare, shopping in sales period to think about … I bought the new agenda for this year, which is not the usual refill of my Nava ever diary (too big and too heavy for the bag of a mom-engineer!): in line with the new book of Sissi (this here) I decided to take this Moleskine, compact but comfortable because daily:

LONDON part#1

Eccoci: 3 ammalati a Londra… Nell’aereo a Sissi é scoppiato il raffreddore: no comment! Primo shopping da Boots… Here we are: three sick persons in London… During the flight Sissi caught a cold: no comment! Our first shopping at Boots… Ecco l’outfit di oggi, ovviamente caldo, ovviamente a strati 😉 Here is today’s outfit, obviously warm, obviously in layers 😉

OUTFIT FOR A FLIGHT

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Allora… si parte! Non mi sembra vero, finalmente dopo ben 2 anni e mezzo di assenza torniamo a Londra! Abbiamo condiviso tanto con questa splendida città in passato, poi proprio lei ci ha “regalato” Sissi. Poi per mille motivi in questi 21 mesi abbiamo preferito altre mete… ma ora torniamo! Finalmente. So … we go! It does not seem real , finally after 2 ½ years of absence we are back to London! We shared so much with this wonderful city in the past, and moreover it “gave” us our Sissi. Then for a thousand reasons in these 21 months we have preferred other destinations … but now we’re back ! Finally .

Il viaggio sarà super breve e destinato per lo più allo shopping natalizio, alla visita del Winter Wonderland ad Hyde Park per far divertire Sissi, a mangiare in due ristoranti che ci piacciono (questo è un Mum’s Treat ;-)) ed ad incontrare qualche amica, vecchie e nuove! The trip will be super short and intended mostly to Christmas shopping, to visit the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park to entertain Sissi, to eat at two restaurants that we like (this is a Mum ‘s Treat ;-)) and to meet some friends, old and new !

L’organizzazione sembra perfetta, ma so che come sempre ci saranno mille imprevisti… anche perchè partiamo un po’ acciaccati: io con l’otite in trattamento antibiotico e papà con il raffreddore… Sissi è salva, per ora… e spero che resti tale fino almeno a lunedì! The organization seems perfect , but I know that as always there will be a thousand unexpected … also because we leave a little ‘ bruised : I leave with otitis in antibiotic treatment and dad with a cold … Sissi is safe, for now … and I hope it remains that way until at least Monday!

L’outfit di Sissi per il viaggio deve essere comodo, morbido, a strati. Abbiamo scelto i leggings che sembrano dei jeans, ma sono morbidi morbidi di Benetton Kids, con la blusa di Burberry, ampia e comoda, ed il golfino di Benetton Kids in cotone molto sottile (che si ripiega benissimo e sta in qualsiasi buchetto!)… calzini come al solito Calzedonia Kids e gli stivaletti Prada (ovviamente portiamo con noi le UGG, ma per il viaggio in aereo mi sembrano fin troppo calde…) ovviamente non mancheranno sciarpa, cappello e piumino… e porteremo anche con noi un super acquisto last minute arrivato giusto in tempo oggi, ma del quale parleremo al rientro! Sissi’s outfits for the trip should be comfortable, soft, in layers. We chose the leggings that look like jeans, but are very soft from Benetton Kids, a Burberry blouse taht is wide and comfortable , and the sweater of Benetton Kids in very thin cotton (that folds very well and can be put in any little hole!) … as usual socks from Calzedonia Kids and Prada boots (of course we carry with us the UGG boots, but for a flight they seem too warm…) obviously there will be scarf , hat and down jacket … and we’ll bring also a super last minute purchase arrived just in time today, but about this we will discuss when I’ll come back!

FOX SWEATER OUTFIT

Buongiorno! Good morning!

La lista (questa qui) si allunga e ancora una volta siamo uscite per comprare piccole cose che ci mancavano…  Dato che andiamo al centro commerciale, l’outfit non è troppo caldo: basta il nostro super-piumino Moncler con cappello e sciarpina in cotone per andare dall’auto all’interno del centro commerciale e poi… fa talmente caldo che Sissi si può spogliare! Cosa che sinceramente non comprendo sia in termini energetici che ecologici che economici: perchè nei centri commerciali deve fare sempre così tanto caldo? Pensano per caso che usciamo di casa in costume da bagno? Mah… The list (this one) is extended and once again we went out to buy small things that we lacked … As we go to the mall, the outfit is not too warm: just our Moncler super-down jacket with hat and scarf in cotton to go from the car to inside and then… Sissi is so hot that you can strip! I honestly do not understand what that is in terms of energy and ecological and economic: why shopping malls should always been so much heated? Do they think  that we leave our homes in a bathing suit ? Mah ..

Oggi abbiniamo questo maglioncino con la volpe di Bonnie Baby, in cotone, di una vestibilità estrema sia per il modello, classico e giusto nella taglia, sia per il colore, panna con la volpina grigia.  Gli shorts (che per quest’anno sono più dei quasi-bermuda dato che ho sbagliato taglia…) di Monsoon sono in un caldo tessuto di tweed sui toni del marrone, con un bel fiocco in vita. A questo punto abbiniamo le calzamaglie grigie di Calzedonia Kids e gli stivaletti di Prada… e il gioco è fatto!!! Today we match this sweater with a sweet fox from Bonnie Baby, in cotton, that is really a great fit for both the model, classic and just in size, and the color, cream with gray fox. The shorts (which for this year are a little bit too long since I bought the wrong size… ) from Monsoon are made in a warm tweed fabric in shades of brown , with a nice bow at the waist . At this point, we combine gray Calzedonia Kids tights and boots from Prada … and that’s it!

A BUNNY AND… A LEOPARD OUTFIT

Intanto stamattina andiamo dal dottore perchè la mia otite non migliora e mi tocca prendere un bell’antibiotico 😦 per fortuna Sissi sembra stare bene…  Meanwhile, this morning we go to the doctor because my otitis does not improve and I have to take a antibiotic. 😦 luckily Sissi seems to be fine …

Per divertirci un po’ oggi abbiamo abbinato un tenero coniglio… con una stampa animalier! Quante risate pensando al coniglietto vicino al leopardo! To have some fun ‘today we have combined a sweet rabbit… with an animal print! How many laughs thinking about the bunny near the leopard!

Odio il lunedì… ma questa settimana sarà sicuramente meno pesante (ma non meno intensa) grazie al viaggetto che ci aspetta… ci stiamo organizzando sbrigando più cose possibili tra lavoro, casa e preparativi! I hate Mondays … but this week will be less heavy (but no less intense) due to the little trip that awaits us … we are organizing as much as possible between work, home and preparations!

Oggi l’outfit è classico, semplice, un jeans e una maglietta: il jeans è in un blu classico, bello scuro (odio il jeans chiaro in inverno!), la t-shirt è una delle nostre amate t-shirt Mini Rodini con dei cavallini che corrono felici: guardandoli abbiamo proprio il senso della libertà! Today’s outfit is classic, simple: it’s a jeans with a T-shirt: the jeans are a classic, beautiful dark jeans (I hate the light color jeans in winter!), the t-shirt is one of our beloved t-shirt by Mini Rodini with little horses that run happy: just watching them we feel a great sense of freedom!

BEIGE AND GRAY SUNDAY

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Oggi un sole splendente ci ha portato al mare per una rilassante e distensiva passeggiata… Albero di Natale e Presepe: fatti domenica scorsa! Quindi oggi possiamo proprio goderci il sole!  Today, a bright sun brought us to the beach for a peaceful and relaxing walk … Christmas Tree and Nativity scene: done on last Sunday! So today we can just enjoy the sun !

SOME COLOUR TODAY

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Oggi il freddo si fa davvero sentire… piove e fa freddo e si sta avvicinando anche la neve! In realtà un po’ ci piacerebbe che nevicasse perchè sarebbe la prima vera neve di Sissi, dato che l’anno scorso non ha nevicato (e comunque sarebbe stata troppo piccola, neanche camminava!) e l’anno precedente…era nella mia pancia 🙂 Today, it’s really cold… it’s raining and the snow is coming! We’d like to snow… just a little, because it would be the first real snow for Sissi, given that last year it did not snow (and in any case she would have been too small, not even walking!) and the year before she was in my… belly 🙂

Stamattina facciamo un giretto al centro commerciale, quindi dobbiamo vestirci a strati… ma vogliamo un po’ di colore e di allegria e quindi abbiamo deciso di abbinare al nostro amato vestito di Molo, con i coniglietti e gli scoiattoli nel bosco, al cardigan di Blumarine, che ha solo poca poca lana di angora… la calzamaglia di Calzedonia Kids è in caldo cotone e per le scarpe… è ora di inaugurare gli stivaletti di Prada (vi ricordate? Ne abbiamo parlato qui)! This morning we’ll take a walk at the mall, then we should dress in layers … but we want a little color and cheer and so we decided to combine our beloved dress by Molo, with bunnies and squirrels in the woods, the cardigan by Blumarine, which has only little wool angora … the tights from Calzedonia Kids are in cotton but warm and the shoes … it’s time to inaugurate the Prada boots (do you remember? We talked about it here)!
