Finalmente ce l’abbiamo fatta: oggi abbiamo iscritto Sissi alla scuola per l’infanzia! La scelta è stata lunga, ponderata e… a dirla tutta ancora non siamo convinti al 100%, ma, considerando tutte le variabili (numero di bambini, maestre, ubicazione, orari, attività), ci è sembrata l’opzione più giusta… vedremo… Finally we made it : today we’ve enrolled Sissi to the kindergarten ! The choice was a long , thought-out and… to be honest we are not yet 100% convinced , but considering all the variables (number of children , teachers , location , time , activity) , it seemed like the best option… we’ll see …

Oggi in Italia è Giovedì Grasso, il primo giorno in cui si festeggia il Carnevale! Today in Italy is “Giovedì Grasso”, the first day in which we celebrate Carnival!
Una bella giornata, quella di ieri. Intensa, stancante, ma vedere Sissi contenta, ripaga di ogni sforzo! A beautiful day, yesterday. Intense, tiring, but seeing Sissi so happy repays any effort!
Oggi andiamo ad ufficializzare l’iscrizione alla scuola dell’infanzia (prima, ai miei tempi, si chiamava asilo, poi si è chiamata scuola materna… ora scuola per l’infanzia) e faremo una passeggiata al sole 😉 Today we are going to formalize the enrollment of kindergarden (before, in my time, it was called “asilo” – asylum, then it was called “scuola materna”… and now “scuola per l’infanzia” – school for children … ) and will take a walk in the sun;-)
2 anni! 2 years!
Sono già passati 2 anni da quel sabato di febbraio. Mi ricordo ancora che prima di entrare in sala operatoria per il cesareo, “parcheggiata” nel corridoio in attesa del mio ginecologo (qual Prof che oggi, purtroppo, non c’è più e al quale mando un ricordo dolce ed un saluto certa che veglierà da lassù tutti i bimbi che ha fatto nascere), ho guardato il cielo, blu, terso, soleggiato, ed il mare. Ricordo la mia paura, quell’aiuto anestesista così gentile, il lenzuolo verde, le parole del Prof che spiegava come si esegue il taglio cesareo, la sua esclamazione “che ragazzona”… ricordo te, piccola, insanguinata, piangente, nuda, indifesa… ricordo i tuoi occhi che mi hanno guardato e da allora, da quel preciso istante nulla è stato come prima. Sei la gioia più grande e la mia più grande preoccupazione: che tu stia sempre bene, che tu cresca bene, sana e intelligente, possibilmente anche bella, ma non prioritariamente, libera nel pensiero e nelle azioni, giusta, onesta, capace, che tu possa amare l’arte e il mondo, la vita. E che diventi una persona migliore della tua mamma e del tuo papà, che impari dai nostri errori. E che possa continuare a stringermi la mano ed a sorridermi, a scherzare, cantare e ballare insieme, io e te nella nostra “simbiosi” di amore. E se un giorno (spero tra tantissimi anni) non ci sarò più, ti auguro che tutto questo ti rimanga dentro e che formi parte del tuo essere perchè solo così potrò essere con te PER SEMPRE.

I still remember that before entering the operating room for a cesarean, “parked” in the hallway waiting for my gynecologist (that Prof which today, unfortunately, is no longer here and to whom I send a greeting and a gentle reminder, I’m sure that he will watch from there all the children that he helped to born), I looked at the sky , blue, clear, sunny, and at the sea. I remember my fear, that helpful anesthetist so kind, the green sheet, the words of Prof explaining to his students how you can perform cesarean section, her exclamation “what a big girl!”… I remember you, my baby, bloody, crying, naked, helpless… I remember your eyes that looked at me and then, from that moment nothing was as before. You are the greatest joy and my biggest worry: may you always be right, grow well, healthy and intelligent, possibly even beautiful, but not as a priority, with freedom in thought and actions, right, honest, capable, may you love art and world, life. And may you become a better person than your mom and your dad, may you learn from our mistakes. And may you continue to hold my hand and smile at me, joking, singing and dancing together, you and I in our “symbiosis” of love. And if one day (hopefully in many years) I’m gone, I hope that all this will remain inside of you and that this will form part of your being, because only so I can be with you FOREVER.

Siamo a -7 dalla festa per il compleanno di Sissi… L’outfit di oggi è comodissimo dato che saremo in giro mattina e pomeriggio, quindi il vestito di Burberry è adattissimo perchè abbastanza casual e molto comodo.
Torniamo oggi ad una “vecchia” passione: quella del check abbinato ai fiori. Le fantasie a fiori saranno ovviamente di moda anche a primavera, il check non molto… ma potrebbe essere una buona idea sostituirlo con i pois, un altro must di questa stagione primaverile! We’re back to an “old” passion: the check matched with the flowers. The floral patterns will of course be fashionable even in spring, the check not much… but it might be a good idea to replace it with polka dots, another must for this spring season!
Dato che la nostra uscita sarà breve ed andremo al centro commerciale, Sissi può stare leggera e quindi il cardigan con zip di Benetton Kids lo portiamo con noi come ieri, per sicurezza. La blusa è in cotone, con abbottonatura sul retro e colletto alla Peter Pan, con check regolari sui toni del rosso e blu, ha le maniche con polsino arricciato ed è di Petit Bateau.
Che giornata pesante! What a busy day !
Papà è fuori 3 giorni per lavoro e da sole è un po’ pesante… ma sappiamo che ci legge… e gli farà piacere vedere che oggi abbiamo riprovato con le Prada. Ebbene sì, le tanto amate e desiderate Prada (qui la review) ad un certo punto hanno cominciato a far male a Sissi all’altezza del polpaccio e per questo le abbiamo lasciate in stand-by per un po’…
