JUST TO SAY “THANK YOU”

Oggi niente outfit: o meglio, l’outfit di oggi dovrebbe essere una tuta e una enorme scatola di Kleenex! Sissi è influenzata e la giornata è stata pesante, come già la notte passata aveva preannunciato. Tante lacrime, naso che cola, coccole, supposte, tanta pazienza, libri, TV (sapete che sono abbastanza contraria, ma quando è ammalata facciamo uno strappo alla regola e, rigorosamente insieme, ci sistemiamo sul divano)… poi suona il corriere e, semplicemente, ti fanno felice e portano un po’ di allegria a questa giornata grigia, dentro e fuori. Today no outfit or rather today’s outfit should be a suit and a huge box of Kleenex! Sissi has flu and the day was heavy, as the night before had foretold. So many tears, runny nose, cuddling, suppositories, lots of patience, books, TV (you know we are against children watching too much television, but when she is sick we make an exception to the rule and, strictly together, we settle on the sofa)… then the courier ring and simply make you happy and bring a little ‘cheer to this gray (inside and out) day.

Ho vissuto in varie città, fatto tante conoscenze e poche vere amicizie e purtroppo quelle vere e forti non sono nella mia città, sono lontane (alcune migliaia di km, purtroppo)… mi ha guidato sempre l’istinto, la sensazione a pelle (espressione che non mi piace, ma che uso perchè così si dice e rende l’idea) ed ho sempre scelto persone che mi hanno arricchito, che mi hanno fatto crescere in qualche maniera, che mi hanno dato tanto ed a cui ho cercato di dare altrettanto.
Oggi, quindi, voglio scrivere questo post per ringraziare tre persone e uno staff.
Grazie anzitutto a Pamela: fin dalle prime mail, dai messaggi, dai tweet abbiamo trovato un vero feeling, é nata nel tempo questa amicizia-virtuale che mi fa sperare che col tempo possa diventare una vera e profonda amicizia, magari meno virtuale e più live!
Poi ringrazio Sofia, che ho conosciuto a Londra insieme alla splendida Suri: nonostante qualche difficoltà linguistica (ma perché essere una spagnolo-parlante mi ha fatto diventare una inglese-poco-parlante?) ci siamo capite al volo, anche con lo sguardo, nell’essere mamme di due bimbe della stessa età che a tanti km di distanza amano le stesse cose e si comportano in maniera identica! E poi la nostra passione per quel cappello Burberry! Che ridere!
Poi ringrazio Roberta, con cui ho forse interagito meno, ma per la quale nutro la stessa simpatia e stima!
Ed infine, non meno importante, ringrazio tutto il team di Mychildworld, perché é grazie a voi che ho conosciuto queste persone speciali, perché sono certa che grazie a voi ne conoscerò altre, perché siete ormai un riferimento per me come mamma in cerca di cose nuove, belle ed originali per Sissi.

I have lived in various cities, did a lot of knowledge and a few true friends, and unfortunately those ones are not living in my town , they are quite far away (a few thousand miles, unfortunately)… I always drove by the instinct, the feeling in the skin (I do not like this term, but I use it because it says and gives better the idea) and I have always chosen people that have enriched me , that made me grow in some way , they gave me so much and I tried to give the same.
Today, therefore , I want to write this post to thank three people and a staff.
Thanks first of all to Pamela: from the first emails, the messages, the tweets we found a true feeling, it was born a virtual friendship that gives me hope that in time can become a deep and genuine friendship, maybe less virtual and more live!
Then thanks to Sofia, whom I met in London with the beautiful Suri: despite some language difficulties (but why be a Spanish – speaking made me a little English-speaker?) we understand very well, with the look, in being mothers of two girls of the same age that, despite of miles of distance, love the same things and behave in the same way ! And then our passion for that Burberry hat ! What a laugh !
Then thanks to Roberta, with whom I interacted maybe less, but for whom I have the same sympathy and esteem!
And last but not least, I thank all Mychildworld‘s team, because it is thanks to you that I have known these special people, because I am sure that thanks to you I will know more, because you are now a reference for me as a mom looking for new, beautiful and original things for my Sissi .
